Southmere Crescent Home Renovation
Town and Country Style – my client has property in the country and desired a home in town as well.
This lovely client managed his own renovation project and I was hired to consult on the kitchen design, cabinetry finishes, bathroom design, flooring materials, lighting fixtures and plumbing fixtures.
Art glass backsplash, feature hood cabinet and client loved this quartz counter for the island.
I love the combination of the textures and colour – and eliminating upper cabinets on the wall by the window allows this to be bright and open.
The saw cut oak engineered hardwood floors bring in the element of rustic the client was hoping for. He removed the wall that formerly separated the kitchen from the dining area, which has made this lovely and open.
The large bright en-suite is gorgeous with the Italian porcelain tile floors, and the wall tile has a wonderful texture detail unseen in this photo.
Detail of the materials selected – the saw cut oak floors, cabinetry + counter samples, art glass tile for backsplash
The Italian porcelain tile in the master ensuite, the carpet for the stairs and second floor bedrooms, with the wood floors used throughout the main floor.
